Professor Mohammad S. Obaidat (Fellow of IEEE and Fellow of SCS) is an internationally well-known academic/researcher/scientist. He received his Ph.D. and M. S. degrees in Computer Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio, USA. Dr. Obaidat is currently the Chair and Full Professor of Computer and Information Science at Fordham University, NY, USA. He has received extensive research funding and has published Forty Six (46) books and over Six Hundreds and Eighty (680) refereed technical articles in scholarly international journals and proceedings of international
conferences, and currently working on three more books. Mohammad is the Editor-in-Chief of the Wiley International Journal of Communication Systems, the FTRA Journal of Convergence and the KSIP Journal of Information Processing. He is also an Editor of IEEE Wireless Communications. He is now an editor of the Wiley Security and Communication Networks Journal, Journal of Networks, International Journal of Information Technology, Communications and Convergence, IJITCC, Inderscience. Prof. Obaidat is an associate editor/editorial board member of seven other refereed scholarly journals. He has guest edited numerous special issues of scholarly journals. Obaidat has served as the steering committee chair, advisory Committee Chair and program chair of numerous international conferences.

Andreas Holzinger is lead of the Holzinger Group HCI–KDD, Institute for Medical Informatics & Statistics at the Medical University Graz, and Associate Professor of Applied Computer Science at the Faculty of Computer Science and Biomedical Engineering at Graz University of Technology. Currently, Andreas is Visiting Professor for Machine Learning in Health Informatics at the Faculty of Informatics at Vienna University of Technology. He serves as consultant for the Canadian, US, UK, Swiss, French, Italian and Dutch governments, for the German Excellence Initiative, and as national expert in the European Co
mmission. Andreas obtained a PhD in Cognitive Science from Graz University in 1998 and his Habilitation (second PhD) in Computer Science from Graz University of Technology in 2003. Andreas was Visiting Professor in Berlin, Innsbruck, London (twice), and Aachen. Andreas and his Group work on extracting knowledge from data and foster a synergistic combination of methodologies of two areas that offer ideal conditions towards unraveling problems with complex health data: Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Knowledge Discovery/Data Mining (KDD), with the central goal of supporting human intelligence with machine learning to discover novel, previously unknown insights into data. To stimulate crazy ideas at international level without boundaries, Andreas founded the international Expert Network HCI–KDD. Andreas is Associate Editor of Knowledge and Information Systems (KAIS), Associate Editor of Springer Brain Informatics (BRIN) and Section Editor of BMC Medical Informatics and Decision Making (MIDM). Brief Bio
Franco Davoli is Full Professor of Telecommunication Networks at the University of Genoa, Department of Electrical, Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering, and Naval Architecture (DITEN). His current research interests are in dynamic resource allocation in multiservice networks and in the Future Internet, wireless mobile and satellite networks, multimedia communications and services, and in flexible, programmable and energy-efficient networking. He has co-authored over 350 scientific publications in international journals, book chapters and conference proceedings. In 2004 and 2011 he was Visiting Erskine F
ellow at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. He has been Principal Investigator in a large number of projects and has served in several positions in the Italian National Consortium for Telecommunications (CNIT), an independent organization joining 37 universities all over Italy. He was co-founder and Head, for the term 2003–2004, of the CNIT National Laboratory for Multimedia Communications, Naples, Italy, and Vice-President of the CNIT Management Board for the term 2005–2007. He is currently Head of the federated CNIT National Laboratory of Smart, Sustainable and Secure Internet Technologies and Infrastructures (S3ITI), based in Genoa, Italy, and coordinator of the H2020 5G PPP MATILDA project. Petros Nicopolitidis received B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the Department of Informatics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1998 and 2002, respectively. From 2004 to 2009 he was a Lecturer at the same Department, were he currently serves as an Assistant Professor. He has published more than 70 papers in international refereed journals and conferences. He is co-author of the book Wireless Networks (Wiley, 2003).
